Mind Scrubbing by Pat Marstall >> You may be lucky. Troops that take part in an Exterminatus >>are killed afterwards and marines are too valuable. When marines >>are used they have to be mind scrubbed and this is not always very >>effective. >Well, after the mindscrub, I always run them through again for the >hot wax and oil job, and occaisionally an enchephalotic fluid >transfer as well. They come out squeaky clean and ready to serve. You must be careful in your choice of services, though. When I take my Marines into these 10-minute mindscrub places and elect to go for the "Delux" treatment (since the price is so low), the techpriests always come out and tell me that this marine needs a new black carapace, or that marine needs his progenoid rotated, and the costs just keep going up and up. Plus they never reconnect the hoses correctly. Despite the cost, it's always worth going back to the dealer, or an authorized forge world. They know the equipment, and they do a better job. Oh, and ALWAYS get the scheduled maintainance and heresy checks. It's pricey, but the marines always run so much better afterwards, and it helps keep the re-sale value up too! -Pat Marstall
